Royce White, a former NBA player and a 2024 Republican nominee for Senate in Minnesota, is facing backlash for a X post in which he said "bad guys won" in reference to World War II. The 33-year-old is contesting from the Minnesota seat against Democrats' Amy Klobuchar. The post from White's X account that drew heavy criticism read, "It dawned on me today...The bad guys won in WWII." After criticism and trolls took over social media, Royce White addressed his audience and said,"It's embarrassing to see how many of you liberals have become pro war and pro crony capitalism."Apparently his post had these words mentioned that read, "reconstruction of our global economy " after the second World War.

The post was criticized as social media users felt it glorified the Nazi Germany where six million and above Jews were killed at the time of the Holocaust. Further clarifying his post, White said that he was talking about "post-World War II democratic order" and "globalists."

This is not the first time that White is facing criticism. He has also been surrounded by other controversies in the past. Some of them include; wrong usage of campaign monetary at a stripper club, boasting about being more right inclined than his party leader and former president Donald Trump , and admitting his negative views towards transgenders.
