Bhopal: CM Mohan Yadav on Thursday hailed the allocation of the 'Pradhan Mantri Mitra Park' to tribal-dominated Dhar district as a milestone in the state's industrial journey. The project, he said, is expected to generate over three lakh employment opportunities, marking a major push towards economic and industrial growth.
He emphasised that the state govt was moving ahead with strong focus on industrialisation and has declared 2025 as the Year of Industry and Employment.
Yadav expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his continued guidance and support in this regard and thanked him for approving a central assistance of Rs 2,100 crore for the 'PM Mitra Park' project.
He further said the state govt was working in mission mode to expand industrial hubs and ensure the timely inauguration of the park. With the active support of Modi, the state was set to witness a new wave of development driven by industrial progress, he said.
Yadav said the 'PM Mitra Park' in Dhar will emerge as a major hub of industrial infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh. It will create significant growth opportunities for various sectors, especially the textile industry.
Highlighting that textiles have long been a hallmark of MP, Yadav said the support from the central govt will boost cotton cultivation across the state, including in tribal regions.
He added that the 'PM Mitra Park' will also directly benefit cotton-producing farmers by strengthening the entire value chain from farm to industry.
