COIMBATORE: An unidentified person sent a bomb threat email to three private schools and a private arts and college for women in Coimbatore on Monday.
The Coimbatore city police's bomb detection and disposal squad began searches at these four educational institutions.
According to police officials, tracing the sender has proven difficult because they are using a virtual private network (VPN), causing their IP address to shift between different countries.
Authorities believe the accused is also using dark web platforms, particularly through the Tor browser.
