Chennai: A 30-year-old swimming coach from Triplicane was arrested for posting morphed intimate photos of a doctor on social media after she refused his romantic advances.
The accused, P Balaji, befriended the postgraduate medical student, who was attending his swimming classes. Police said Balaji proposed to her, but she declined. Enraged by the rejection, Balaji created a fake social media profile and uploaded doctored intimate images of her.
The doctor filed a police complaint. Following an investigation, police arrested Balaji and seized three mobile phones. He was produced before a magistrate and remanded in judicial custody. tnn
