SSC Stenographer Skill Test admit card 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released admit cards for the 2024 Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Skill Test. Candidates who qualified in the earlier stage can now access their hall tickets through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The skill test is scheduled for April 16 and 17, 2025, and will be held at examination centres across the country.

The SSC Stenographer Skill Test is designed to assess a candidate's shorthand and transcription abilities in either English or Hindi. During the test, candidates are given a 10-minute dictation, which they must transcribe on a computer within a specific time frame. For Stenographer Grade C, the required shorthand speed is 100 words per minute in English and 80 w.p.m. in Hindi.

For Grade D, the expected speed is 80 w.p.m. in English and 65 w.p.m. in Hindi. The transcription time varies depending on the grade and chosen language. Candidates appearing for Grade D in English are allotted 50 minutes (70 minutes if using a scribe), while those opting for Hindi receive 65 minutes (90 minutes with a scribe). For Grade C, the English transcription must be completed in 40 minutes (55 minutes with a scribe), and the Hindi in 55 minutes.
