For a son, his life revolves around his mother. Actor Saurabh Gumber feels his success is the answer to his mother's prayer. On her birthday, the actor who previously essayed the role of Raunak in the TV show Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai talks about the sacred bond he shares with his mom Mrs. Nirmal Gumber.
He said, "Nothing could ever break our bond and for that, I’m eternally grateful. She is my biggest role model, who taught me the meaning of love, strength, and integrity, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life. I'm filled with gratitude for having my back through thick and thin…Words can’t describe how much she means to me. Each year, I feel like to appreciate her more and more. I'm thankful to her for always encouraging me and being so kind and loving."
Crediting his success to her, he continued, "She's the woman who’s been there for me through the highs and lows! I’m so grateful for all the memories we’ve shared together. During my childhood, I was quite a naughty child. I used to fight, and whenever my dad screamed, she used to protect me. She used to make me realise and learn from my mistakes and not repeat again. She made me a gentleman, who I am today."
The actor was last seen essaying a negative role in 'Dahej Daasi' and joined his family through a video call for the celebration.
He shared, "I wanted to be there, but post Diwali celebration I had to come back to Mumbai because of my work commitments. But last night when my whole family was along with her for birthday cake cutting, I joined them via a video call. Today to celebrate her day, she will go out for shopping and will enjoy a family get-together in one of the restaurants in the capital."
He concluded by adding, "It’s her special day, she inspires me every day, and is the most caring and thoughtful person I’ve ever met. I'm Thankful to her for leading by being an example, and always being so supportive throughout my life. Wishing her another year filled with love, adventure, and loads of laughter!! My mother is the biggest blessing for me in this life."
Saurabh has also acted in shows like Maharaj Ki Jai Ho, Mahashakti, and Gathbandhan, Kumkum Bhagya among others.
