The video, shared by sports reporter Darren Rovell, showed Joe Burrow missing the target over and over. It took him six tries to hit anything close. Most of his throws hit the walls or missed wide. Still far off were the final two tosses even after one landed close to the goal.
Fans on social media were quick to respond. One individual wrote , “That’s embarrassing,” while another said, “This can’t be real.”

Others tried to explain it by saying he’s just used to football. “He’s throwing a baseball like a quarterback,” someone said.
Some fans saw a bigger issue. “Back in the day, high school quarterbacks also played baseball,” one person wrote. “Now it’s just football year-round.”
Despite the jokes, Joe Burrow is still one of the top quarterbacks heading into the 2025 NFL season.
