Winnipeg Jets rank feisty first in the Central Division, having accumulated crazy stats like 54 wins, 21 losses, and 4 overtime losses in the 2024-2025 NHL season! Is there anything that this team doesn’t have? So perfect. It’s hard to believe it’s all real.
Even in today’s match against the Dallas Stars , another top contender in the Central Division, the Winnipeg Jets were so ruthless that they did not allow even a single goal for the Dallas Stars to score! So ruthless. All the credit goes to their goaltender, Connor Hellebuyck , who, himself, created NHL history . Connor Hellebuyck is the 7th goalie in NHL history to win 45 NHL games in a single season!

Out of the 54 games won by the Winnipeg Jets, 45 were won because of their goaltender Connor Hellebuyck! Of course, because of their goaltender, if the goals are not allowed, if the puck doesn’t enter the Winnipeg Jets’ net, Jets’ net, wow, what a good word there, anyway, if the puck is kept away from the net, who’s to get the credit for it? The goaltender right? That’s what Connor Hellebuyck did. He won 45 NHL games! And became the 7th goaltender to have done that in a single season!

And to add more fuel to the fire, the Winnipeg Jets are now ahead of the Dallas Stars in the Central Division! So dreadful. So unconquerable. It’s hard to believe! But it’s true. Even Roope Hintz couldn’t take his eyes off the Winnipeg Jets’ goalie. What did he have to say at the post-game conference? Let’s hear him out.

“They have a good goalie. And they play good defensively. We got to find a way to score against those guys. We played all right for two periods. But we just couldn’t score, so we got to find a way to score. We got to watch some video and see what didn’t work today, and then from there and take those with us to the next game.” shared Dallas Stars ice hockey forward Roope Hintz about Winnipeg Jets and their goaltender Connor Hellebuyck.
