Infosys wins $85 million Air Liquide deal

Send Push
Infosys won an $85 million deal from the French industrial gases firm Air Liquide , covering IT and BPM ( business process management ) services, sources told TOI.

Infosys secured the deal, surpassing competitors such as Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, and Wipro, who were also in contention for the contract. The deal, sources said, presents a significant opportunity for Infosys to delve deeper into the account to drive other transformation initiatives and gain the right of refusal for future requests for proposals (RFPs). It also provided Infosys with a 12% premium over its competitors, sources noted.

An email sent to Infosys and Air Liquide did not elicit a response by the time of going to press.

Infosys and Air Liquide have collaborated in the past. The firm completed an SAP implementation for Air Liquide's subsidiary in seven months.

Air Liquide moved swiftly to complete the Opera rollout in the Netherlands within seven months, instead of the standard 18 months it took in many previous implementations. Opera was developed by Infosys for the subsidiary to centralise resources and systems.
