In a recent blog post, she condemned the relationship between Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk , accusing the two men of working together to "undermine American democracy ."
“Donald Trump has always been for sale,” Mary wrote, accusing her uncle's of selling access and influence to anyone willing to pay, from foreign governments to corporate giants. “It’s not surprising that the world’s richest fascist, South African jumping bean Elon Musk, would also be interested in purchasing a few shares in a man who is willing to sell whatever he can get his hands on—whether it’s steaks or American national security.”
Mary Trump’s latest blog post focused heavily on Musk’s involvement in supporting her uncle’s presidential campaign. She pointed out Musk’s financial backing, which includes paying voters in key swing states to sign a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments. “Musk is literally giving money to voters to support Donald,” Mary wrote, criticising Musk’s efforts as a dangerous form of political manipulation .

“The devil’s bargain,” as she described it, extends beyond Musk, with Mary also pointing to other figures like Russian President Vladimir Putin who have supported Trump. According to Mary, this alliance puts the country at risk of aligning with the "world’s most destructive foreign actors" and threatens the future of American democracy.
