In connection with a drug trafficking case, police have arrested 11 individuals, including three foreign nationals, based on information obtained during the interrogation of a resident from Bayarupadavu in Manjeshwar and another accused.
The arrested include Tanzanian nationals David Ensmi, Ashk Arun, and Frank, along with nine others from various Indian states. The investigation has revealed links to an organized drug trafficking network that allegedly supplied narcotics to Kerala and other southern states.
Officials suspect the operation may be part of a larger international drug syndicate. The police have indicated that the investigation will be widened to trace further links and accomplices in the network.
