Prayagraj: For green Maha Kumbh campaign, volunteers from the state, including Ayodhya, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, and Kushinagar, gathered at Chandrashekhar Azad Park on Sunday. They painted various pictures on canvas to raise awareness about Maha Kumbh. Paint My City campaign was conducted to give a new look to Sangam city. Mela officials stated that during the Green Maha Kumbh, a campaign is being run to make this event plastic-free. Starting from Sunday, it was decided to run this campaign every weekend. Moreover, a large number of youths are also coming forward to take this campaign of Green Maha Kumbh to every home. To convey the message of a green environment, children from all over the state created nature-related pictures. Under the objective of green Maha Kumbh, a total of 1,34,364 plants were also planted in the first phase in the belt of the Ganges river.
