Last August, Google introduced its Pixel 9 series smartphones, but this year, the company seems poised to alter its launch timeline. Indications suggest that the Pixel 10 series may debut earlier than usual. Google has organized a special event for super fans, allowing them to engage with the product development team. Although the invitation did not disclose specific details about the new Pixel designs, attendees might get an exclusive first look at the Pixel 10 smartphones.

Anticipated Features of Pixel 10

Recent updates indicate that TSMC will manufacture the Tensor G5 Chip for the Pixel 10, marking a significant enhancement for the device. Additionally, Android 16 is set to launch soon. Historically, Pixel launches have occurred in October, but this year, the event could take place before August.

Previous Leaks and Rumors

Prior to the super fans event announcement, several leaks hinted at the new phone's features. Reports suggest that the Pixel 10 will be available in fresh colors, including Obsidian (Black), Blue, Iris (Purple), and Limoncello (Yellow). The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL models are expected to come in Obsidian (Black), Green, Sterling (Gray), and Porcelain (White).

Leaked images also showcased a storyboard for the Pixel 10 marketing campaign, indicating a full commercial shoot. The tagline and visuals suggest that the new Pixel will incorporate a range of advanced AI features.

Design Similarities with Pixel 9 Pro

Images that surfaced online reveal that the Pixel 10's design closely resembles that of the Pixel 9 series. Notably, the Pixel 10 features a third camera lens, akin to the Pixel 9 Pro, with the power button and volume rocker positioned similarly.

While the Pixel 10 was initially expected to launch in August, it may arrive sooner. This leak marks a unique instance, as it originates from a commercial marketing video shoot, rather than the usual pre-launch leaks. Historically, Pixel phones have faced leaks, including a notable incident where a truckload of Pixel devices was stolen in Russia before their official release.

The leaked images depict the phone in Obsidian color, with other potential color options including Porcelain and two additional special shades. Traditionally, Pixel phones have been released in monochromatic colors, but Google appears to be shifting towards a more vibrant palette to attract new customers.
