An English travel vlogger has dubbed Delhi “” after getting “robbed” by a toyseller. Ben Frier, aka Backpacker Ben, shared a YouTube vlog documenting his recent visit to India. The video captures his interactions with locals, not least of all a man whose toy the vlogger was forced to buy.“I returned to my least favourite city in the world, Delhi! After a bad experience last time here in India I swore never to return however ‪@baldandbankrupt‬ [Benjamin Rich] asked me to join him on one last adventure. Will it be the same as last time? Let's find out!,” said .The Plymouth traveller was fascinated by the ways of Indians, including being pointed to a wine shop when he specifically asked for directions to a bar, and an auto-rickshaw driver who was happy to trade his fare for social media fame.Perhaps what Frier liked the least about Delhi was when, as he said, he “got robbed”. The incident was caught on camera at a traffic signal when he decided to buy a toy from a man. However, when Frier handed him a Rs. 500 note, expecting a change of Rs. 300 in return, a second toy seller said he wanted in. So, the first man outsmarted the vlogger, giving him only Rs. 200, and throwing in an extry toy, which he didn’t want. The video shows him throwing the toy on the road, while Rich makes fun of him for being “broke”.Commenting on Frier’s vlog post, many people recalled their own experience of India.“I’ve been to India once and hated it so much I left and swore to never go back. I went with an open mind and it was worse than I could ever imagine,” said one.“As a North-Eastern Indian currently in Delhi, it is not a good place for tourist, Delhi is also specially racists and everything just sucks,” commented a second user.

Frier also faced backlash from a section of social media as his video comes fresh off the heels of a involving Rich’s “I visited India so you don't have to” vlog, which was seen as deliberately showing the country in a negative light.
